Barcelona left six points ahead of San Mames Stadium ahead of Real Madrid, who beat Atletico Madrid in second place by winning the capital's derby on Saturday.

BARCELONA, Spain (AP) – Goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen had a great performance in Barcelona. He still lost points in a 0-0 draw at Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish league on Sunday.
Barcelona left six points ahead of San Mames Stadium ahead of Real Madrid, who beat Atletico Madrid in second place by winning the capital's derby on Saturday.
Lionel Messi returned to the starting lineup of Barcelona after playing the last half-hour against Madrid in the 1-1 draw midweek of the Copa del Rey. Messi had doubts about this cup game after an indeterminate leg injury that occurred last weekend.
Ter Stegen made one-handed saves to counter Markel Susaeta and Inaki Williams in each half.
