"Be the vehicle of change in the world"

Cape Coast,
April 21, GNA – Pastor Eric Appah Marfo of the Power of Resurrection and Living Bread
Ministries International, branch of Cape Coast, urged Ghanaians to be the
vehicle of change in the world.

Give the
sermon on the theme: "The risen Christ", Sunday of the Resurrection, Pastor
Marfo quoted Luke 24: 1-12 and said that the resurrection of Christ had arrived
with a new type of instruction to go out and represent it everywhere.

the resurrection, everything has changed. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus asked us to go
and make disciples of all nations. Indeed, we should let everyone hear about
his kindness towards humanity.

should be the vehicle of change in our world and let people see Christ in
we. If, because of your attitude, people speak badly of Christ, then you have
failed as a witness.

He explained
that the resurrection of Christ first means that sin has been destroyed and that our
world was directed to redemption and not destruction, secondly it also brought
we the power to witness to Christ and to proclaim hope to a dying world and
third, it meant that we could live victoriously in this world no matter what
conditions.

Pastor Marfo
explained that the resurrection of Jesus from the dead was the central fact of
Christian history.

He said,
the church is built on the resurrection of Christ; without it, there would not be
Christian church today.

"Christians can
to be very different from each other; they can have beliefs largely checking
on politics, lifestyle and even theology. But a central conviction unites
and inspires all true Christians – Jesus Christ is resurrected, "he added.

Pastor
encouraged the congregation not to doubt God's promises concerning their lives
the resurrection of Jesus brought much joy and deepened our faith in
Christ knowing that our Savior is risen as He promised.

He said we
should be encouraged knowing that all that God had said concerning our health,
finance, business, academia and marriage would all come true and God
never said a lie.

He advised that
the Easter season was not a period of life for oneself, but rather a period
time for reflection and evaluation of the extent of God's love for all
humanity.

"It is not the
the time to defile yourself with all sorts of vices. Use this period to bring you closer
to God and live for him. Life is too short to be wasted by useless things,
he advised.
