What was your experience the first time, did you anticipate it?
Yes, I loved having twins, even before I got married. I had always wanted to have them.
What was your reaction to the second and third births?
During my wife’s second pregnancy I was shocked when we went to the ultrasound and realized that this was another group of twins. Many of my family and friends were jealous when we gave birth to them (second twins). At the third birth I knew I would have another pair of twins because of what people said and glory to God; my wife designed and it was a different set. Although the third birth was difficult, we never experience what we experienced in the third birth but we give thanks to Allah.

Has anyone in your extended family ever had twins?
Yes, my grandfather had twins as his last children, my father also had twins. My parents had me after a series of twins. My mother-in-law is a twin and one of my sisters-in-law had two pairs of twins. I would say I’m surrounded by twins.
How did you manage their care, financially and otherwise?
Ah! This? It was God, it wasn’t a cup of cake, I have to admit. But God has always been there for us.
What was their mother’s experience? Is she ready to have more?
You know with God nothing is impossible. Either way, their mother didn’t complain, she got used to taking care of them.
Yes, she’s not afraid of having more, but not now, possibly in the future and provided we get medical clearance that she’s up to the task. We both love to have children.
