Diamondbacks have special guests in town for the weekend. The WWE Royal Rumble arrives at Chase Field on Sunday, and there is no doubt that the team is ready.

Minor base player Cody Decker is a very big fan. So it was more than happy to go to the festivities on Saturday afternoon to become the Chase Field correspondent at WWE and interview superstars like Lana and Carmella.

One of the most entertaining moments of the day came when Decker arrived at swap jerseys and chat with Becky Lynch about her own sport. Lynch is from Ireland, where baseball is not as popular (though she's happy to talk about round players), so Decker asked her about the meaning of certain terms baseball:

We all know @BeckyLynchWWE is the man in @WWEbut is she the man in baseball knowledge? We had our special correspondent @ Decker6 find. pic.twitter.com/e3tVI2nRvv

Lynch nailed the issue of circuit tickets, and his estimate of Baltimore was as reasoned as anyone could expect. Decker did not even know what it was, and frankly, that would be unbelievable to see the definition proposed by Lynch to play himself.

In any case, the interview proved better than Decker's attempt to elicit positive feedback on his shot at Gallows and Anderson.

Always puttin smiles on people's dials

Ouch. Maybe Decker could have another Royal Rumble Burger to relieve his injuries.

We have @ Decker6 like our @WWE Special correspondent this weekend. First, he becomes the person who attacks the #RoyalRumble Burger and gives him his expert opinion.

Andrew Mearns is a writer for Cut4, whose baseball obsession arose from the shattered dreams of Mike Mussina's perfect game endeavor in 2001. He keeps an astonishing reminder of the highlights of the global series that operate at hardly like a party ride.
