Pollster Ben Ephson predicted the defeat of Ningo-Prampram MP Sam George in the upcoming Democratic National Democratic Party (NDC).

He also said that the newcomer, the former Minister of Gender, Nana Oye Lithur, who is challenging the Adentan siege, will embrace the dust.

In an interview with 3FM, Ephson said the controversies in the respective constituencies of both parties would go against them, leading to their defeat.

He explained that the bad mood between Lithur and his former MP, Rachel Appoh, gave him [Lithur] competitor Abu Ramadan has a better chance at the Adentan primaries.

"I would be surprised if Nana Oye wins … given the way Nana Oye takes it and Ramadan, learning a few things," he said.

Rachel Appoh accused Nana Oye Lithur of mistreating her as her deputy and having her work from the reception for nearly a year.

In the case of Sam George, Mr. Ephson noted that the former MP of Ningo Prampram, AND Mensah, would be the main factor influencing his chances.

"Things have piled up and it's very difficult for him. The last time he was outsider, this time if Sam George wins, I'll be surprised.

"He played very well, but this time the odds are against him. AND, like it or hate it, is a factor in Ningo Prampram, "he commented.

Asked about the Madina constituency, the pollster revealed to Sosu Francis-Xavier his candidate, the former NDC youth organizer, Sidii Abubakar Musah. He noted that the impact of Sidii was not felt when he was the young party organizer.

"If he had done well, he could have reached out. Madina has many people from the Volta region and many people from Muslim regions. Sidii will try to appeal to Muslims, but Sosu is trying to enter this community, "Ephson said. "For example, he volunteered for people who have problems in the community and I think Sosu should win."

He added that Sosu would be a better challenger for the current MP, Abubakar Saddique Boniface..

The Asawase constituency has been identified as another interesting constituency to watch for in the NDC's parliamentary primaries.

According to him, "Asawase is one of the constituencies that the NDC is trying to win. [in the Ashanti Region]. Of the 47, NDC only has 3. And it's a constituency they've been trying to win. It is therefore possible that they tackle the problems of the constituency. "

However, he said outgoing President Mubarak Muntaka Mohammed had a better chance of winning.

The NDC must hold its parliamentary primaries on Saturday, August 24th.
