(Reuters) – Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc announced Thursday that it has reduced its stake in the maker of Apple iPhone Inc., which is its largest equity investment, and added positions in SunCor Energy Inc. and Red Hat Inc.
The investments were disclosed in a regulatory file detailing Berkshire shares listed in the United States as of December 31.
Berkshire's stake in Apple fell to about 249.6 million shares, up from 252.5 million three months earlier.
Stock prices often fluctuate as a result of Berkshire's disclosure of new or significantly changed issues.
