The new iPad (2018) replaces the very similar 2017 model and, before that, the iPad Air 2 in the Apple range, lying below the Pro range.
It works with the Apple pencil, giving you the cheapest way to scribble on the 9.7-inch glbad, although you can not get the smart keyboard with this non-Pro model. It also has the same luxurious metal monocoque as the rest of Apple's iPad line, although it's slightly thinner than the iPad Air 2 or the 7.5mm iPad Pro.
With the Touch ID fingerprint sensor included, iOS 12 under the hood and up to 10 hours of autonomy when it comes to internet browsing or watching videos, this is an excellent Media player and a smart choice for your tablet if you plan to not use it for productivity purposes.

We really appreciate the iPad Pro 12.9 for its big size and it's closest to a 2-in-1 touchscreen MacBook. It turns out that you're using iOS 12 instead of macOS.
It's the best productivity and entertainment tablet with its 12.9-inch display, four speakers, iOS 12 dock and multitasking interface. Apple has redesigned its control center interface to facilitate the change of application, and this tablet is compatible with Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard.
That's the biggest weakness? The iPad Pro 12.9-inch price, and the size is not suitable for everyone. But if you can afford it and if you want the biggest iPad available, you'll love this: it replaces a laptop for many people.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is an improved version of the The Galaxy Tab S3 has a larger screen size of 10.5 inches and a longer battery life, but its price is higher and the promise to do a lot more.
We really like the idea of Samsung Dex for its desktop interface, but its non-touch user interface, its performance issues and its dubious optional keyboard prevent it from being a real substitute for the desktop.
If you're looking for a premium Android tablet, the Galaxy Tab S4 is at the top of the list, but it promises more than that and just does not give. Do not get me wrong, the S4 tab is indeed better than the S3 tab, but the price-quality ratio is simply not enough.

If you like the look of the new iPad of Apple 9.7 (2018) and the iPad Pro range, but you find them a) too big, b) too expensive or c) Both, then you're in luck: the Mini Mini iPad 4 offers you the best of the world of Apple tablets in a non-gorgeous format, but also very portable.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 may have been outclbaded by the Galaxy Tab S4, but with its lower price and more stable and simple approach, it still stands above the newer model.
It has an HDR screen for optimal contrast ratio, four speakers of a quality comparable to that of all models of iPad Pro and a S Pen included Pen in the box. However, you will not receive a free keyboard, which, if you buy on the tablet, makes it a good productivity tool.
The 9.7-inch HDR-compatible screen is also very useful, since many services use improved quality – you can now get Netflix with higher color quality and brightness, for example.

With an iPad-like design, the Asus ZenPad 3S 10 is a direct rival of the best Apple tablets if you want something with an alternative operating system.
The screen is sharp and bright, and the power is correct – if it's not a well-known chipset that runs things. It's worth noting that the Android Nougat software is running, and Asus has not told us yet whether or when it would get the latest Android Oreo update.
The battery life and build quality are not quite up to Apple standards, but the price is not it either – a good option if you want a larger screen at one. Lower price.
