Looks like the guy is coming back … in an advertisement. Jeff Bridges just teased a Big Lebowski… Something, with a short trailer featuring the message "Stay tuned". Although you can automatically badume that this means a sequence, the date at the end of the sequence indicates 2/3/19. It's way too early for the release of a secret movie – we would have heard Something now. But football fans will immediately recognize that February 3 is the date of this year's Super Bowl. Although we do not have confirmation yet, it's likely that Bridges is teasing a Big Lebowski Super Bowl commercial.

Here we see an older guy, still alive, in a very short movie clip. The guy walks in a noisy and crowded place, where the camera sets off to knock down a wind in the street – as we did at the beginning of The great Lebowski. As the tumbleweed progresses, it reveals a date: 2.3.19. This is the date of the Super Bowl LIII. Therefore, unless the Coen brothers, Bridges and the company make the most secretive movie of all time and if they're ready to release it in less than two weeks, we can probably badume that Bridges is teasing a commercial Super Bowl .
Super Bowl commercials disguised as suites may be a new trend that we will face each year. Last year, a very elaborate tagging campaign gave the impression that the Dundee Crocodile The sequel with Danny McBride and Chris Hemsworth was on the horizon. The "trailers" were used for an Australian tourist ad broadcast on the Super Bowl Sunday.
The great Lebowski celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2018 and remains a cult clbadic. The Coen Brothers comedy starred Bridges as a loafer who breaks up and becomes a sort of confusing private detective when he is involved in a kidnapping plot. Lebowski followed the victory at the Coen Brothers Oscars Fargowhich put independent filmmakers in the public eye in a way they had never seen before. There was a lot of anticipation for what they would do next, and when The great Lebowski Opened in March 1998, the public was … confused. The film's original comedy disconcerted the general public, who knew the Coens almost entirely from Fargo, even though this film also had its share of quirky humor.
In the years since its publication, however, Lebowski has won a dedicated fan base. It's easily one of Coens's most cited films, and the idea that Bridges will take over, even briefly, will please many. Keep your eyes open for more information as we get closer to the Super Bowl.
