The managing director of MASLOC (Microfinance and Small Loans Center), Steven Amoah, said some celebrities in the country were indebted to his outfit for the money they had made.
Although Mr. Amoah did not disclose the names of the celebrities, he said they had borrowed under the administration of former President John Mahama.
According to him, "some musicians and actresses of the country still owe us. Many celebrities owe us what I can tell you with confidence. They took out these loans during the mandate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ".
He said that after granting loans on favorable terms to more than 400 residents of West Atiwa District in the eastern region over the weekend.
He asked celebrities to repay their loans as soon as possible.
