Bitcoin ATMs continue to spread rapidly in the United States.
Chicago is the latest city to see an increase in the number of ATMs supporting both the cryptocurrency market leader and various popular altcoins – thanks to an Atlanta-based company, Lux Vending, which has already abandoned this year 30 ATMs at "Bitcoin Depot" in Chicago.
The addition to Lux's machines would apparently bring the total number of Bitcoin ATMs in Chicago to nearly 100.
The fifth most populous city in North America is already a hot spot of the Bitcoin Radar. CME Group and Cboe Global Markets, major exchanges, are already offering bitcoin futures that are not physically settled. Trading giant Coinbase, based in San Francisco, recently opened an office in Chicago. Various cryptocurrency-based startups currently reside in Windy City.

Philadelphia would also have nearly 100 Bitcoin ATMs operating in the area, many of which are "hidden in plain view" in places like Rittenhouse Square, South Philly and Queen Villiage, according to Sean Keefe of Straight Up Capital, of Straight Up Capital .
Keefe also told KYW NewsRadio 1060 that he expects more businesses to start accepting the dominant cryptocurrency as ATMs become more popular and more widespread.
Know your Coinstar
At the same time, Coinstar recently launched a Bitcoin Purchase Support Program with growing collections of spare parts. Although this news generated a lot of enthusiasm, the parties quickly rained down their shows after the machines required extensive customer knowledge checks (KYC), validated extremely slowly.
Nevertheless, the developments of the Bitcoin ATM companies and Coinstar are undeniably positive. The United States currently owns more than 3,000 machines, far more than any other country in the world, despite the downturn in the market that has lasted for a year.
