The Palestinian Hamas resistance group has arranged to receive funding in Bitcoin (BTC) from the Coinbase and Binance accounts. The transfers were blocked when they were detected by the Israeli chain intelligence company, Whitestream, as reported by Globes.
Hamas, which has been designated a terrorist organization by the United Nations, has requested funding for a position on Telegram. Sharing a speech on a coinbase purse, he said that "the Zionist enemy is fighting the Palestinian resistance by trying to cut off aid by any means." However, resistance lovers around the world are fighting these Zionist attempts and are looking for every possible means to help the resistance. "
Transfers to a seemingly Hamas-owned Coinbase account were detected by Whitestream. They may have been stalled as they violate Coinbase's policies on the financing of terrorism and other illicit activities. Another BTC portfolio unrelated to Coinbase received funding for two transactions totaling approximately $ 2,500.
Whitestream discovered that Hamas apparently also uses Binance and Bittrex accounts, as well as a wallet belonging to the encrypted payment gateway CoinPayments.
