The price of BitTorrent Tokens (BTT) has increased by more than 600% since its initial offering of parts (ICO), which sold in minutes, according to data from the February 4th issue of WedMarketCap.

The BitTorrent Peer-to-Peer Torrent Client, which allows users to distribute files over the Internet, launched its Tron-based native BTT token in early January. BTT is meant to be part of a broader ambition to create a decentralized content distribution platform using digital currency.

On January 28, the sale of BTT on the platform Binance Launchpad made the headlines, generating $ 7.1 million with the sale of 50 billion chips in less than 15 minutes. Tron CEO and founder Justin Sun officially announced that BTT 23.76 billion had been sold in 13 minutes and 25 seconds at a price of $ 0.00012 per chip.

As time runs out, BTT is trading around 0.000885 USD, an increase of 629% since the OIC and 47% in the last 24 hours. The trading volume of the coin over the last day is about $ 360 million, while its total bid amounts to 990 billion BTT.
