Here is the official synopsis for Shazam!:
We all have a superhero in us, it takes just a little magic to get him out. In the case of Billy Batson (Angel), shouting a word – SHAZAM! – this 14-year-old and subtle adoptive child can become the adult superhero Shazam (Levi), thanks to a former wizard. Still a child at heart – in a ripped and divine body – Shazam delights in this adult version of himself by doing what any teenager would do with super powers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he fire lightning from his hands? Can he ignore his social studies test? Shazam undertakes to test the limits of his abilities with the joyous temerity of a child. But he must quickly master these powers to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong).
Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! stars Zachary Levi, Angel Asher, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faith Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Andrews Cooper, Marta Milans and Djimon Hounsou.
Shazam! will be available in Digital HD from July 2, 2019, followed by an Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD release on July 16.
