Ghana's Black Queens lost their place in the latest FIFA / Coca-Cola World Women's Ranking.

The Black Queens are ranked 50th in the world due to the lack of international team activity this month.

The team has not played any games since the disappointing end of the group stage of the African Women's Cup.

Meanwhile, Nigeria earned a spot in the month by becoming top of the league after taking 38th position.

The Super Falcons lost a spot in 39th place in December, when they won the African Nations Cup in Ghana.

However, an encouraging record of three wins in six international friendlies in 2019 has taken them to 38th place and remains at the top of the pack in Africa.

The four best African teams remain unchanged, with the 2019 Women's World Cup champions (Cameroon, South Africa and Ghana) occupying the second, third and fourth place respectively.

Cameroon remained immobile, occupying the same 46th place without a better friendly match in 2019, while South Africa lost a place in 49th position after failing to win a victory in six games since January.

On the world stage, the world champions, the United States and Germany, have retained the top two places, while England has risen to third place as a result of its triumph in SheBelieves Cup as host of the World Cup.
