Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah is expected to face new players in today's friendly match against Mauritania at the Accra stadium.

Appiah will evaluate these players as he prepares to name his final team for the CAN.

Ernest Asante, Alhbadan Wakaso, the Kotoko duo Amos Frimpong and Kwame Bonsu are among those who could be offered their debut.

While Caleb Ekuban, Wimbledon striker Kwasi Appiah, Sbaduolo midfielder Alfred Duncan and Crystal Palace star Jeffrey Schlupp will try to impress Ghana's boss before the tournament later this year.

Like the Black Stars, Mauritania secured its place for the final round in Egypt in June after finishing second in Group I.

The kickoff of the match is given at 16:30.
