The week will be rather busy for BLACKPINK, with the group of K-pop that will perform at the Late Late Show with James Corden before going to the stage of Coachella.
The band – made up of Lisa, Jennie Kim, Rose and Jisoo – debuted on American talk shows during the Late Show with Stephen Colbert in February. So they're taking over right now.
Their return, Kill This Love, kills the airwaves and shatters recordings on YouTube. So it's no surprise that James wants to get them on his show, which will air on April 18th.
According to CBS Press, they will feature on James Corden as a musical guest alongside famous guests, Garfield and Lake Bell.
These will take place in the middle of their performances at Coachella, when they will appear on the stage on April 12 and 19.
This is not any concert for the group as they become the first group of K-pop girls to perform at the dusty California festival. Ultimate Multitasksers, they will begin their North American tour in LA on April 17 while they are there.
It comes after Kill This Love dethroned the powerful Psy earlier this week.
Which is not a small feat, you know.
The incredible MV of the girls group received more than 100 million views on YouTube in just two days and 14 hours, beating the previous record of Psy's Gentleman.
The viral success of Psy held the record since April 2013, after reaching 100 million views in two days and 19 hours.
Yes, sorry Psy. But that was not it, though.
YouTube confirmed that the title had attracted 56.7 million views in the first 24 hours, which means the two ladies have dropped Ariana Grande's Thank U, Next for the biggest first of its 24 hours.
Psy is one thing, Ariana is something else.
