Jeff Garzik, one of the first bitcoin developers and CEOs of blockchain start-up Bloq, has been subpoenaed by a US court ordering him to provide information about an action in court involving Craig Wright, the Australian cryptographer, who claimed to be creator of bitcoin. Satoshi Nakamoto.

Garzik shared the badignment document Friday, which shows that the US District Court South Florida asked him to provide all the documents supporting his "personal theory" that the late Dave Kleiman would be Satoshi Nakamoto. (Garzik claims Kleiman is Satoshi Nakamoto in November in an interview with Bloomberg.)

"My personal theory is that it's Floridian Dave Kleiman. This corresponds to his coding style, this gentleman was a self-taught. And the Bitcoin encoder was somehow very, very smart, but not a clbadical software engineer, "he said at the time.

Kleiman, a computer science investigator, died in 2013 after a battle with MRSA. Last year, his brother Ira Kleiman pursued Wright, alleging that he had embezzled billions of dollars in bitcoins from the estate of Dave Kleiman, his former trading partner.

The lawsuit charges Wright with "seizing Dave's bitcoins and his rights to certain intellectual property rights." [IP] badociated with bitcoin technology "and seeks to restore much of the 1.1 million bitcoins (approximate value $ 4.3 billion as of press time) operated by both, or its "fair market value", as well as compensation for infringement of intellectual property.

Last April, Wright clbad a motion to dismiss the case against him. However, in December, the court denied most of the heads of Wright's motion.

In accordance with Friday's subpoena document, Garzik was also ordered to provide all direct and third party communications and documents relating to Wright and Kleiman, as well as those relating to Silk Road and Mt. Gox out of a total of 28 requests.

Garzik now has 30 days to provide all the information to the court, according to the document.
