Bob Arum makes Floyd Mayweather against Manny Pacquiao prognostic

Legendary promoter Bob Arum believes Manny Pacquiao would be beaten by Floyd Mayweather Jr if revenge was to materialize.

Mayweather pointed out that Pacquiao was in a difficult situation in 2015 and there was new speculation that they could enter the ring again.

Both men engaged in a war of words on social media, accusing each other of living by their names.

Mayweather was on the edge of the ring as Pacquiao retreated over the years to beat Keith Thurman and end his undefeated record in Las Vegas last month.

He is now trying to become the first man to defeat Mayweather by tempting him to return to the ring.

The high-ranking leader, Arum, thinks the fight makes business sense – but he is adamant that Pacquiao will ensure that the result is different on the second request.

Arum told Fighthub, "If this fight takes place, then it's probably worth it because it would be a very big fight."

"Manny Pacquiao would win now."

Although declaring a rematch against Mayweather would be a huge event, Arum believes the 40-year-old Filipino should consider hanging up his gloves if the fight does not happen.

"He had the victory [against Keith Thurman]. He came out on a big note, "he said.
