Bolgatanga police banned all Val feast celebrations

Police in the regional capital of the Haut-Est, Bolgatanga, banned all forms of celebrations for Valentine’s Day on February 14.

This was after gathering information that some pubs and spots had scheduled programs to mark the day.

A statement from the division headquarters said it was imperative that ads and spots heeded the decree of the President of Ghana.

Currently, active cases in Ghana stand at 7,754 after 771 new cases were registered.

The country’s death toll now stands at 518.

In total, Ghana has registered 75,118 cases of COVID-19 in the country. However, the country recorded 66,846 clinical recoveries.
