The High Court of Mumbai ruled Tuesday a petition against the misrepresentation of the "Kirpan" of the Sikh religion in "Zero". The applicant admitted in court that his amendments had been corrected by the changes made to the scene in question. In December, following objections from the Sikh community, filmmakers Shah Rukh Khan-starrer changed the scene with a "kirpan". Manjinder Singh Sirsa, General Secretary of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Executive Committee (DSGMC), also lodged a complaint against the star "Raees" for allegedly harming the feelings of the Sikh community. In addition to Shah Rukh, Zero is also performed by Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. Produced by Gauri Khan, the film was screened on big screens on December 21st.
