Botswana Project "Major Opportunity" for Power Metal, Johnson Says

Paul Johnson, executive director of Power Metal Resources PLC (LON: POW), tells Proactive that its Molopo Farms project in Botswana is a top priority.

"This is a major opportunity for us," he told Proactive's Andrew Scott.

"We were only able to get involved because of the depressed market for mineral exploration," he added.

"Under normal commercial conditions, these types of opportunities are simply not available, so let's go as far forward as possible."

Power Metal holds a 18.26% stake in Kalahari Key, the exploration company at Molopo Farms, and can take a 40% working interest for $ 500,000.

A geophysics program is nearing completion and will be followed by site selection for an initial drill campaign.

The pace of progress of the work has been impressive so far, Johnson adds.
