The company of Russian businessman Maxim Demin has acquired full ownership of Bournemouth.

A 25% stake in the Cherries, owned by Peak6 Investments, based in Chicago, has now been acquired by Demin & # 39; s AFCB Enterprises Ltd.

A statement from the club thanked Peak6 for its "investment and commitment" in Bournemouth since November 2015.

Demin became co-owner of the club with a 50% investment in 2011, when Bournemouth was in League One.

Former President Eddie Mitchell then sold his stake in the club to Demin in 2013.

Currently enjoying its fourth season in the Premier League, the club is still struggling to earn income match of the day with its stadium Vitality, with a capacity of 11,450 people.

Manager Eddie Howe said in May that the club will "never see the benefits of the Premier League era" unless it changes course.

Bournemouth general manager Neill Blake said last summer that the club was hoping to have a new stadium completed in time for the 2020-21 season.

Dorset clubs have also planned a new training grounds complex approved by councilors from the Poole District.
