Manikarnika broke the big 50 crore in just five days. The film still faces fierce competition from Vicky Kaushal Uber: The Surgical Strike.
Manikarnika was co-directed by Kangana Ranaut and Krish. The film also stars Ankita Lokhande, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Atul Kulkarni, Jisshu Sengupta, Suresh Oberoi and Danny Denzongpa.
The film has received mixed reviews from the public and critics. Shubhra Gupta, critic of Indian Express, awarded the film 2.5 stars and wrote in his article: "There is not a complex thought in this film of nearly three hours, which is Breathless in the third act because he has to repeat his battle scenes. ad nauseam to fill the time until the end. Everything remained deliberately at the level of the simple kindergarten (in some places, even simplistic), linear, first, that's what happened, then it happened, then.
