Jamiu Malomo, an 18 year old boy was arrested by police in Ogun for killing a 28 year old lady identified as Azeezat Akande.
Police Command spokesman DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi revealed in a statement that the suspect was caught after community president Oke Aregba Abeokuta complained that she woke up with the remains of the young woman on Sunday morning July 18.

Men from Osun’s command rushed to the scene and the young woman’s corpse was transported to the Ijaye mortuary, according to DPO Adatan division, SP Abiodun Salau.

“During his interrogation, the suspect who had just been released from prison last month, confessed to having killed the deceased. After gaining carnal knowledge of the victim, the victim asked for the 10,000 naira they agreed to, but he refused to give it because he only had eight thousand naira with him.
This led to a heated argument between them. He then gave his phone to the deceased for her to hold and wait for her on the road to bring her the money. While the deceased waited, the suspect returned with a knife unknown to the victim and stabbed her deeply in the neck, resulting in the instant death of the deceased.
