Boyce's father says fans help "ease the pain" of death from "nightmare"

It's been a few days since Hollywood lost a rising star, Cameron Boyceand his parents speak out about their devastating loss.

Victor Boyce, the father of the Disney Channel star, took Twitter share the overwhelming amount of love and support that has been sent to his family.

"I am overwhelmed by the love and support our family has received," he subtitled Sunday. "It really helps to relieve the pain of this nightmare that I can not wake up in. I can not thank you enough, guys."

In addition, the family shared a statement with E! News of Cameron's death. "It is with a heavy heart that we report that we lost Cameron this morning," they said on Sunday. "He died in his sleep as a result of a seizure resulting from a medical condition for which he was being treated."

The statement continued as follows: "The world is now unmistakably devoid of any of its brightest lights, but its spirit will live through the kindness and compbadion of all who knew and loved it. we mourn the loss of our precious son and brother. "

Boyce died at the age of 20 years. He celebrated his important birthday in May.

The California native was known for his Disney Channel roles Jessie and descendants. In fact, about the same time last year, Cameron had completed the production of the Fantasy franchise's third installment, scheduled for release on August 3.
