Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are officially single after the end of the judge's wedding

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are officially single and ready to mingle – as a result of a special decision before finalizing their divorce.

There may still be work to be done on the details of their legal separation that will make the divorce final, but for the moment, Angelina and Brad can start looking at the other fish at sea.

Los Angeles Superior Court records indicate that Judge John W. Ouderkirk rendered a judgment Friday, stating that the couple is no longer married.

Angeline has also found her name: Jolie, not Jolie Pitt.

The couple's lawyers had asked for a two-part judgment, which means that two married people can be declared single before all divorce issues are resolved.

It is unclear what issues remain unresolved in the divorce, but Jolie has filed documents claiming that Pitt was not paying sufficient support, which his lawyers have contested.

This comes after Angelina would have wanted to come back with Brad and "become a family again".

The actress had apparently made a U-turn and told her that she wanted to give another chance to their wedding.

However, sources told Sun that he was in no hurry, but that he was eager to keep things amicably for the sake of the children.

"Angelina clearly explained to Brad that she wanted to reconnect with him. She wants them to become a family again and do not seem able to continue, "the insider told the publication.

Moreover, it is claimed that it is the reason why she is apparently dragging herself in their amicable divorce.

"That's why she makes things so difficult for Brad with every detail of their divorce." Brad always kept his mouth shut, because he cared for his children.

Jolie, 43, and Pitt, 55, have six children. They got married in 2014 and Jolie filed for divorce in 2016.
