A brave young man from Cape Town, Ashley Europa recently took matters into her own hands after commuters got stranded following a theft from a Golden Arrow bus in Hanover, Cape Town last week.
According to reports, the commuters were on the bus when suddenly three men decided to rob them, starting with the brave 24-year-old. After spotting the commotion, the frightened bus driver fled the scene, leaving commuters stranded on the bus.
It was then that the incredibly courageous young Europa decided to remedy the situation and get behind the wheel to drive the relieved 30-40 people to their specific destinations in the Cape region.
IOL reports that Europa lied to passengers saying he had previous experience of driving buses, which he had never driven before in order to help them feel comfortable.
According to the article, Europa has since asked the Golden Arrow Bus company to kindly offer him a job and replace the things that were stolen from him since he is the sole breadwinner in his house and also the father of a child.
