The Brazilian Minister of Justice Sergio Moro has considered disclosing the confession of construction giant Odebrecht that he allegedly paid bribes to Venezuela to harm the president of the country, Nicolas Maduro, reported Sunday the site Web of the Intercept survey.

"Perhaps we should reveal Odebrecht's confession about bribes in Venezuela?" Moro told Attorney General Deltan Dallagnol via the Telegram encrypted email application in August 2017.
Earlier in the conversation, Dallagnol had told Moro: "There will be reviews and a price (to be paid), but it is worth it to expose to help Venezuelans."
It is still unclear whether the confessions were disclosed, but Odebrecht admitted to having paid bribes throughout Latin America, including $ 98 million in Venezuela, his biggest gain outside of Brazil .
In a statement, the city prosecutor's office in Curitiba, which addressed some of the most well-known aspects of the investigation, rejected The Intercept's report.
