The candidate for the presidency of the party of national interest, PIN, Eunice Atuejide, has withdrawn from the race.

It's been just twenty-eight days, when the former Education Minister, Oby Ezekwesili, made his own announcement at the end of the race.

The Thai princess's candidacy for the prime minister is blocked while the party obeys the royal order

Atuejide revealed that she had withdrawn from the elections because her race for the presidency was scheduled to end on February 16 "and that's what happened."

Recall that the National Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, canceled and postponed the presidential and national elections scheduled from 16 to 23 February 2019, citing logistical problems.

However, Atuejide, in the same statement obtained by PremiumTimes, said that it would support PDP candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar because of his choice of vice president.

His statement reads; "I chose to fight for the benefit of all Nigerians on the side of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. I can not defend PDP for giving us bad leadership from 1999 to 2015, but I can not however blame APC for doing a much worse job from 2015 to 2019.

"Moreover, whether we call them PDP, APC, APP, ANN, YPP or PIN, we are all the same people who move from one political platform to another in search of a place where express and be heard.

"In my opinion, the platform of political parties is not the real problem, it is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar under PDP or President Buhari under APC this time.

"I dare to state unequivocally that I am with Atiku under the PDP this time."

"Mr. Abubakar chose an incredible VP. In fact, even though I have never met Peter Obi or spoken with him, it is thanks to him that I am today the founder and national president of a political party organized by young people and directed numerically. His exemplary leadership as Governor of Anambra State has brought me, along with several members of my team, to politics. "
