Ondo State lawyers were adjourned on Thursday indefinitely following a snake bite threat.
The sudden appearance of a snake in front of the chambers disrupted the plenary session, leaving lawmakers looking for security.
According to reports, a snake would have fallen near the place where the labyrinth was placed in the hall of saints sanctioned Wednesday as the members were preparing for the plenary session.
The workers of the badembly would have killed the snake.
However, during the plenary session, the ceiling fell again and fell near the seat occupied by the president of the badembly, Hon Bamidele Oloyelogun.
Vanguard noted that the ceiling of the seat of parliamentary staff during the session and the gallery also collapsed.
Water also falls inside rooms whenever it's raining.
Members fled when the ceiling collapsed for added security.

The members have repeatedly helped Hon Oloyelogun to leave his seat.
Speaking to reporters, the House of Commons committee on information, Gbenga Omole confirmed that the session had been suspended indefinitely as a result of the deplorable state of the sacred chamber.
Omole said the house was about to settle on Wednesday when a snake escaped from the infested termite ceiling in the center of the room.
"Once again, we were at the plenary when the ceiling collapsed next to the speaker.
Omole said, "When we were about to enter plenary, a large snake escaped from the room, disrupting our session and we had to leave the room hurriedly.
"We are about to sit down again today when a ceiling has collapsed where the President was sitting, the whole house was choppy and when we looked at around us, we have seen the damage caused by termites to most ceiling woodwork.
"At that time, we had to call and adjourn the meeting. This room is no longer safe for legislative work and because of this, we decided to suspend our work indefinitely. The house will spend indefinite holidays.
"We must inform the state governor Rotimi Akeredolu of this development and we decided to meet him on this subject.
"The governor is aware of the deteriorating infrastructure here because things here are outdated and not very good for legislative affairs.
"Right now, the House has not enjoyed the autonomy for which we are fighting, because if it happened, we did not need to consult the governor. You know how things are going now, each government needs to call on the executive to get things done.
"But pending the approval of legislative autonomy, we must turn to the executive where the governor is in charge and we will have to call on him to come to our aid because we have a lot to do and there are a lot of bills to deal with.
"When I said we were going to take a break, we will continue to visit our offices, but sitting in this room is not what will happen.
"We have written to the governor so that he knows what is going on here
Omole, however, said, "We have finally killed the snake, but many reptiles hibernate in the roof of the chamber and every time it rains, the whole room is flooded.
