Tension is mounting in the branch of the new Patriotic Party (NPP) in Yilo-Krobo following the withdrawal of some party members from the school feeding program as caterers.
According to DAILY GUIDE, the plan would have been implemented by the municipality's director general, in collaboration with some party constituency officials in the eastern district riding.
According to Gifty Azagba, a women's polling station organizer for the NPP, who is also a caterer, the MCE, Ebenezer Tetteh Kupualor; Constituency President Dr. Gabriel Apotey; Female organizer; Adelaide Asantewaa and youth organizer George Teye Wayo allegedly joined forces to intimidate current caterers in the school's school feeding program and would be asked to give up their jobs.

Azagba said that the MCE and some constituency leaders brought their own staff as caterers, but former caterers vowed to resist them.
"They even went so far as to warn the school principal to send me away from school or risk being transferred," said Ms. Azagba.
