The Bees opened an investigation at the age of 26 after Baggies fans complained of an incident near the end of their 1-0 win at Griffin Park on Saturday, March 16th.
The Football Association also watched a video footage of the incident provided by Brentford, but decided not to charge Jeanvier.
Brentford said he solved the problem internally and reminded the French defender that his behavior was unacceptable.
The Brentford Football Club has received complaints and inquiries regarding the behavior of defenseman Julian Jeanvier in the final minutes of the Sky Bet Championship match against West Bromwich Albion on March 16th.
"The Football Federation also talked about the incident and Julian provided a statement to the governing body and the video provided by the club.
"Afterwards, the club was informed that the FA did not intend to sue Julian.
However, in talks with Julian, the defender admitted to spitting nearby supporters of West Bromwich Albion.
"He asked the club to publish this to apologize to all the fans involved in the incident.
"Brentford FC clearly explained to Julian that this behavior was unacceptable. The issue has been handled internally and is now considered closed. "
