Johannesburg – The five BRICS countries – Brazil, Russia, China, India and South Africa – called on all countries of the South, including other African states, to unite against trade wars and "Rise of unilateralism".

South Africa is also expected to benefit enormously from these partnerships.
Brazilian President Michel Temer said his country would create a center in Joburg to train thousands of aviation professionals. also said that his country would help South Africa to establish a center that would manufacture vaccines in order to stop relying on "other traditional countries".
He also urged his country to helpthe South African National Defense Force. ) and other defense forces in Africa to help them conduct peacekeeping missions around the world.
"Brazil has five different peacekeeping missions in Africa, so let the BRICS agenda stay vibrant," Temer said. Chinese President Xi Jinping also called on the various countries to trade together in good faith. In response, Rwandan President Paul Kagame welcomed the call and said the close cooperation of all countries would improve the continent's governance.
Kagame also told the BRICS countries that there was huge investment in opportunities in Africa.
