MOTD COMMENTER NOTES
@SimonBrotherton: The FA Cup win on Wednesday at West Brom gave a boost to Brighton, who has still not won in the league since the beginning of the year.
They win a disappointing victory in 10 league games. Last Saturday, they clashed with a fit Ben Foster and had to settle for a goalless draw against Watford.
This week brings another goalkeeper into form on the South Coast, with Tom Heaton impressing for Burnley.
The Clarets have clearly recovered and are undefeated in six games since returning to the first team, their best league in the past 10 months.
VIEW OF THE DUGOUT
Chris Hughton, manager of Brighton & Hove Albion: "I'm expecting a tight match … the levels of both clubs and both teams have been relatively similar in recent seasons.
"Of course they had an outstanding season last season and [that is] to testify to them, certainly with the budgets and what they have with regard to the team and the number of players in the team. "
Sean Dyche, Burnley manager: "The last round of six league games showed a more consistent identity, with performances and points.
"The nature of what we are known for – going to the end of the line for games with our last breath – has been repaid [and] I'm happy with that.
"Individually and collectively, there has been very good performance."
THE PREDICTION OF LAWRO
He was in a close match because I do not think either side is giving up a lot, but Burnley is in better shape and I urge them to support him.
Prediction: 0-1

MATCHING FACTS
Head-to-head
This will be the fourth meeting between the high-end teams. Burnley is undefeated in the previous three (W1, D2).
Brighton has no win in his last six games against the Clarets, although five of those matches have been draws – a sequence that ended with Burnley's 1-0 win at Turf Moor earlier this season.
Brighton and Hove Albion
Brighton has won only one of his last 10 Premier League matches, three draws and six losses, and is without a win in his five first-round matches in 2019 (D2, L3).
They could fail in three consecutive home games for the first time in their history.
The Seagulls have never lost a Premier League match in February (W2, D2). The only other undefeated team in a month in the division is Blackpool, who avoided defeat in his two games in December 2010 (three more games were postponed due to a grounding).
The three home defeats of Brighton this season have all opposed teams that start the weekend in the four best: Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea.
Glenn Murray has a goal in under 100 league goals for Brighton in two periods at the club.
Burnley
Burnley is undefeated in six league games (W3, D3), his best run for 10 months. They have never played seven games without defeat in the Premier League.
The recalled player, Heat Heaton, has started his last six league games and the Clarets have not lost a Premier League game in which he plays since August 2017 (against West Brom).
Burnley is without a win in 14 Premier League games played in February (D7, L7) since his first win in the 2010 against West Ham.
They ended a wait of 67 games for a Premier League penalty against Southampton. Ashley Barnes has won and converted his first free kick in the high flight since April 2017.
This game brings together the two parties that have been the least successful in the Premier League this season – Burnley has scored 238, against 246 for Brighton.
