Brighton & Hove Albion trio Aileen Whelan, Kayleigh Green and Megan Connolly have signed new one-year contracts with the Women’s Super League club.
Forward Whelan, 30, and 33-year-old midfielder Green have both signed one-year contracts for the upcoming campaign.
Connolly, 24, agreed to a one-year extension of her current contract, keeping her with the club until 2023.
“Aileen, Kayleigh and Megan give us abilities and a lot of experience at this level”, boss Hope Powell noted.
New contracts arrive 48 hours after the club’s announcement the signing of South Korean striker Lee Geum-min permanently from Manchester City.
