British heavyweight Daniel Dubois eliminated Canadian Richard Lartey in the fourth round at Wembley Arena to extend his undefeated record.

After exchanging violent blows in the previous round, Dubois dropped Lartey with a superb right hand and referee Bob Williams canceled the fight.

Dubois, 21, won all 11 bouts with 10 wins in the round of 16.

"It was a fight, and I was still trying to hit him with shots," he told BT Sport.

"I let myself go, then I thought:" You know what, I have to pick the right moves. "

"I hit him with a good shot and I caught him to the point where I wanted all night, so that was a lesson learned."

The British Boxing Board of Control announced Wednesday that Dubois had reached an agreement on a title for the British title with Joe Joyce, who was near the ring in London on Saturday.

Joyce's next fight will be Billy Joe Saunders' game against Shefat Isufi at Stevenage on May 18th after signing with Frank Warren, who is also promoting Dubois.

When asked if he would beat Joyce, 33, Dubois replied: "Absolutely – as long as the preparation is good, I stay focused, listen to the people around me, I will beat all those who I believe."

Joyce, who has won all eight fights, said he thought Dubois "felt a little confused" by Lartey.

"It was a very entertaining fight, he did the job," said Joyce.

"Fighting it is an option, I fought at Stevenage, it's a good warm-up, so I should be back in July."
