It's official: a BTS x Halsey collaboration is finally underway and the ARMY has started its freakout accordingly.
Sunday, April 7th, Big Hit Entertainment (parent company of BTS) fall a teaser for the next video of the K-pop group "Boy With Luv", which will feature Halsey. The 45-second clip shows the singer of "Without Me", wearing sherbet-colored hair, sitting patiently in front of a movie theater. Suddenly, she locks the door and goes to the road where she spots the members of the BTS, all dressed in pink candy. Before the screen goes black, we see above the movie theater an illuminated illuminated sign reading "Persona", likely sign of the upcoming BTS album.
According to Big Hit Entertainment, "Boy With Luv" will be released on Friday, April 12th. The fans will not have much more time to wait. Which is certainly a good thing because, as one member of the military said: "Our ghosts are dead. We are SHOOOOOOOK.
The friendship between Halsey and BTS goes back a long time. Musical artists meet in 2017, and spent time together the following year, when Halsey went to South Korea for her Kingdom of the fountain without hope world Tour. In August 2018, Halsey shared a photo of her with the K-pop group on Instagram, writing: "You know it was impossible for me to come to Seoul without seeing these guys." Needless to say, fans have been hoping for a collaboration between Halsey and BTS for a while, especially since the singer of "Eastside" has called the boys' group of inspiration for her own music.
