Rev. Ejike Mbaka, the spiritual director of the Enugu Worship Ministry in Nigeria (AMEN), said the Buhari administration could arrest priests in the country.
Mbaka suggested that ruling clerics who speak the truth risk persecution and incarceration.
In a sermon, the government critic insisted that Nigeria is not on the right track.

“Suffering is part of our history now, but it will not continue like this forever.
“Not everyone can be stupid at the same time. Nigerians should not suffer.
He lamented the plight of ordinary citizens and accused the nation’s leaders of “wickedness.”
Mbaka recalled that at one time there was no banditry, kidnapping and terrorism in Nigeria except hooliganism which was at a “miniature level”.
“At that time, leadership was not about money,” added the Frankish clergy.

“I see a time, if my brother priests do not start talking, we will learn that Bishops A, B, C, D have been arrested and handcuffed,” he warned.
