Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as the Bulldog, was released on bail after his arrest by National Security officers.
Speaking to Abeiku Santana on Okay FM tonight, president of the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO), Rex Omar confirmed that Bulldog was released on bail after spending around 48 hours at police headquarters.
Rex Omar also said that Bulldog, who is also the manager of Shatta Wale, was well and happy while in custody.
The veteran musician added that Bulldog’s attorney facilitated his client’s release after he was arrested by agents at BNI now known as the National Investigation Bureau (NIB).
Bulldog was arrested on Monday, January 11, 2021, allegedly due to some comments he made on UTV’s United Showbiz, hosted by Nana Ama McBrown.
