Kristin Kreuk stays on the case at the CW: the network has acquired season 3 of the Canadian import Burden of truth, featuring the Smallville veterinarian, TVLine has learned. Eight episodes of one hour will be broadcast in 2020.
The second season of the legal investigation drama, which also includes Blue rookiePeter Mooney, will be presented in the United States this Sunday at 8 am / 7c on the CW. According to the official synopsis, Joanna Chang, an attorney at Kreuk's firm, is trained "in the dark world of pirates, activists and a political movement that will not make prisoners."
The series was renewed for season 3 CBC broadcaster in March, production is expected to begin this summer.
