By the time Maurizio Sarri decided to leave Chelsea

After a tough season at Stamford Bridge, the Italian manager, Maurizio Sarri, is expected to settle at Juventus after Chelsea has agreed to pay compensation in excess of £ 5 million.

Sarri won the Europa League, guided the team to the Carabao Cup final and finished third. Still, many Chelsea fans have struggled to get hot in the 60-year-old's heart.

Sarri himself would have decided that the time had come to go from the front when he had heard supporters mistreating him with a particular venom during Chelsea's victory in Cardiff in March.

Even though the Blues won a 2-1 victory thanks to late controversial goals from Cesar Azpilicueta and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Sarri was hit by a torrid stream while his team lost 1-0.

Angry fans chanted "Sarri out" and "f *** Sarri-ball", in reference to the philosophy of football that the coach had tried to implement in the team.

This would have been the last straw for the manager, who was already struggling to motivate his players and who had received little support from the club's board members.

This is not the first time Blues fans have shown their opposition to a coach. Luiz Felipe Scolari and Rafael Benitez also feel the anger of disgruntled supporters of the past.

Of course, the question now is who will replace Sarri, with Frank Lampard, legend of Chelsea, as a favorite.

Lampard, who is the club's top scorer with 211 goals, impressed his first season as a manager, coaching Derby County in the playoff final before being defeated by Aston Villa.

Mbadimiliano Allegri, former boss of Juventus and AC Milan, seems to have stepped out of the race by claiming that it will separate a year from now. Erik ten Hag, from Ajax, and Javi Gracia, of Watford, were also badociated with the role.
