Kotoko to face Zesco on Wednesday 13 February
Asante Kotoko's coach, CK Akonnor, wants to improve his defense in anticipation of his clash with ZESCO United on Wednesday.
The gaffer of the Porcupine Warriors said that the technical team was seriously working to resolve his team's defense mistakes before the game.
Speaking on the club's official website, Akonnor admitted to having noticed some defensive mistakes in his team during the match against Al Hilal. He also revealed that the technical bench was working on its resolution before the decisive meeting on Wednesday.
"It's about talking to the players, practicing and practicing ways to defend yourself well.
"Most of these are individual mistakes that we can easily fix by having guys play as a team and defend themselves very well and as a unit when they are not in the ball," a- he declared.
The Porcupine Warriors conceded a goal in their first match with Kariobangi Sharks, conceded three goals against Coton Sport in the two-leg matchoff, and conceded a goal against Al Hilal in Sudan a week ago.
Akonnor is worried, but he hopes his boys will improve.
Kotoko will face Zesco on Wednesday (February 13th) at Baba Yara Stadium.
