The African Football Confederation – AFC – has agreed to Asante Kotoko's request to change the time of the kickoff of his clash with ZESCO United at the Confederations Cup.
The match was originally scheduled to start on Wednesday at 1:00 pm, but according to the Nana Kwame Dankwah Club representative for Greater Accra, the CAF gave them permission to change the kickoff time from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. h
"We wrote to CAF about the time of our match against ZESCO and, thank God, they accepted our proposal.
"The match is now officially scheduled for the kickoff at 4 pm. Let's hope that an official statement will be issued by CAF tomorrow, "he told FootballMadeInGhana.com
Asante Kotoko will try to return to victory after losing 1-0 to Al Hilalin in his first group match.
