Striker Rahim Osmanu of ZESCO United invited Asante Kotoko to join his squad to qualify for the CAF Confederations Cup Round of 16 final.
The Zambian giants suffered their first defeat of the campaign after a 1-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko on the second day of the competition at the Baba Yara sports stadium on Wednesday.
The performance of the Porcupine Warriors was hailed by Ghanaian striker Rahim Osmanu, who came off the bench to comfort the Zambian side.
"If you see the performance of the group's teams, I think Kotoko and we will qualify for the next stage after the quality performance we showed after two games," said Osmanu on Happy FM.
"Our goal is to finish first in the group, but I think Kotoko is a strong contender who seems to join us in the next round."
Kotoko will play as guest of another Zambian team, Nkana FC, on Sunday, February 24, on day three, while ZESCO United will play Al Hilal in Sudan.
