"We get the negatives on the front page," said Leigh. "We take all the positive things and put them on top. We are like their minister of propaganda. "

Mr Leigh indicates that the process is taking a gradual campaign of building new websites and optimizing existing sites over a period of six months to a year, so the process seems more organic to the algorithm from Google. He added that Pure Reputation could also hire another company to direct traffic to their sites in order to make them more credible to Google.

And for Igniyte, business is booming. Mr. Wadsworth said, "I receive inquiries every day of the year, including Christmas Day, and in recent years I would say that they have tripled."
