Callum Hudson-Odoi is ready to commit to his long-term future in Chelsea if Frank Lampard returns to Stamford Bridge.

The English international, frustrated by the life in West London under Maurizio Sarri, has submitted a transfer request to facilitate the transfer to Bayern Munich.

With just one year left in his contract, the future of the 18-year-old should be one of the main topics of discussion for Chelsea's 2019/20 season, as the Blues leaders are determined to tie him to a contract with long term.

Hudson-Odoi is currently sidelined with an Achilles breakup, but Chelsea's bosses are ready to hand him the vacant jersey # 10, left behind by Eden Hazard after the Belgian international joined Real Madrid.

According to the Daily Mail, however, the future of Hudson-Odoi should mark a turning point.

The teenager believes the Chelsea legend will offer more first-team opportunities as he has a good relationship with Lampard's badistant Jody Morris, who worked with him in the under-18s.

Derby, however, hopes to be able to keep the former Chelsea midfielder, who has guided them to the final of the playoffs this season.
