Callum Hudson-Odoi has urged UEFA to act after claiming to have heard Montenegrin supporters run racist chants against Danny Rose in England's 5-1 win Monday night.

Gareth Southgate confirmed that England would address a complaint to UEFA after being left "without a doubt" to the fact that Montenegrin supporters at the Municipal Stadium in Podgorica had directed racist violence on defender Danny Rose .

Hudson-Odoi, who accompanied Rose to a corner near Montenegro's support, claims to have heard of racial abuse from fans and described the behavior as "unacceptable".

"I do not think discrimination should be anywhere," Hudson-Odoi told beIN Sports after the match.

"We are all equal and we have to play a fair game and enjoy the moment, but when you hear things like that from the fans, it's not okay, it's unacceptable. "

Hudson-Odoi confirmed that he had heard the abusive songs – which he referred to as "monkey tricks" – for Rose.

"I hope that UEFA will take care of it properly because, of course, Rosey and I have heard it – you just have to keep your head and keep a strong mentality.

"Hopefully Rosey is fine too.We will discuss what happened, but he has a strong mentality and he is a strong guy, so I hope everything will be fine and that the EU will do it. "

Hudson-Odoi had a good performance in his debut in England, recording a pbad for the second goal scored by Chelsea teammate Ross Barkley.

While the teenager said he was delighted with the team's performance, the incident tarnished what should have been a memorable occasion.

"It's not fair at all," he added. "I enjoyed the game too and hearing things like that is never right.

"You just have to have a strong mentality and we are thrilled with the win so we will take it home."

Raheem Sterling tweeted his reaction to the incident after making a gesture to Montenegro supporters when he scored the fifth goal of the night for England.

The English star, who also created two goals for his teammates, wrote: "The best way to silence enemies (and yeah, I mean racists) # 2019 #getsomeeducation".
