Neil Warnock said he would play against Callum Hudson-Odoi against his Cardiff team after being more impressed by his performances in England than his head coach Maurizio Sarri.

Hudson-Odoi played a key role in England's 5-1 win over Montenegro in Monday's European qualifiers.

Sarri refused to congratulate the 18-year-old. He insisted, however, that he had not seen much of the competitive first game of Hudson-Odoi in England and that the quality of some national teams was "very low".

But Cardiff's manager, Warnock, has been more complimentary to the teenager, who has not yet started a Premier League game for Chelsea, while he faces Eden Hazard, Willian and Pedro for a place in the eleventh of his club.

"I would give Callum a match after his performance in England," said Warnock before the match. Sky sports live the confrontation.

But he insists that there is as much pressure on Chelsea as Cardiff to score points on Sunday, with the Sarri team having some way to go before ending up in the top four.

"They are sixth in the standings and are not badured of a Champions League position," added Warnock. "They are also under tremendous pressure.

"After the Everton match, where they could have been 4-0 and lost 2-0, I imagine that they will watch this game and think they can hit the road again.

"It's understandable when they compare our results with those of other teams and, if everything goes as planned during a good day, they beat us.

"But if we recover, we can give a good match to these teams, especially at home."

Cardiff beat West Ham 2-0 three weeks ago in his last game before the international break and Warnock is convinced that it is not just the clubs above them that are in danger of falling to the Sky Championship. Bet.
