A new quartet of clips from season 2 of Jurassic World: Cretaceous Camp debuted online, courtesy of the official Jurassic world Youtube channel.
The clips feature Camp Cretaceous campers adjusting to life on Isla Nublar after the events of Season 1. In the process, they encounter several dinosaurs including a Tyrannosarus rex and a Stegasaurus. They also witness a campfire, which leads them to believe other people have come to save them – and encounter a Carnotaurus in the process.
Season 1 of Jurassic World: Cretaceous Camp followed the adventures of dinosaur fan Darius, who won an all-expense-paid trip to Camp Cretaceous – a one-of-a-kind experience on Jurassic World. During their stay, the campers fought for survival as the events of Jurassic world took place and were ultimately left behind after the evacuation of Isla Nublar.
Director Colin Trevorrow, who directed the Jurassic world trilogy and serves as executive producer on Cretaceous Camp, previously discussed how Season 2 will set up the events of Jurassic World: Dominion. “It’s important to me, out of respect for writers who continue to develop and create, to recognize [Camp Cretaceous] also clearly his own story and his own show. He added: “But this season – and if we have other opportunities to tell the story we have [in season 3] – will continue to fit into the larger story and really inform some things, even in Domination which will link me to discoveries that really fascinate me. “
Jurassic World: Cretaceous Camp is produced by Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, Colin Trevorrow, Scott Kreamer and Lane Lueras, with Zack Stentz as consultant producer. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently available to stream on Netflix.
