People who were at the locations listed below on the specified dates and times may have been exposed to measles:

People who were exposed on March 29th at the locations and times indicated above, and who have not received two doses of measles vaccine, will be offered vaccination on April 1st, 2019 at the AHS vaccination clinic of the Brentwood Village Mall at 302 3630 Brentwood Road NW from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm as a precaution.

People who have been exposed prior to March 29th are no longer eligible for the preventive vaccine.
Victoria, BC
Two cases of measles infection have been reported to Island Health. Both people contracted the infection while on a trip abroad. Both people sought care in the South Island.
People who were at the following locations on the dates and times indicated may have been exposed to measles:

Toronto
Toronto Public Health (TPH) is investigating a case of laboratory-confirmed measles in an adult resident who has contracted the infection in another country. Individuals are reminded that the measles virus circulates in many countries and that they must ensure that they are well protected against measles before traveling.
The public may have been exposed to the measles virus in the following contexts:
March 20 at Vaughan Mills, 1 Dr. Bbad Pro Mills, Vaughan, Ontario, between 4pm. and 10 hours
According to the Canadian government, 27 cases of measles were reported in Canada between 2019 and March 16.
Quebec, British Columbia, the Northwest Territories, Ontario, and Alberta reported these cases.
